Branch opening times can change at short notice. This may be in order to deep clean or due to staff shortages. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by unplanned closures.
Post Offices are designated an essential service, providing a unique service for a range of necessary activities. It’s important for our customers to consider whether their visit to their local Post Office is crucial so that we can maximise the safety and wellbeing of our Post Office customers and colleagues.
To help you follow the government’s guidance on social distancing, we’re using floor markers to ensure customers queue at a 2-metre distance.
We’re also making access simpler for customers with differing needs. At our standalone Post Office locations, the first hour of every day is for elderly or vulnerable customers and those working in NHS or care services.
Our standalone Post Offices and WH Smiths branches are now open 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12:30pm Saturday.
To find your nearest Post Office as well as details about its services and opening times, use our Branch Finder tool.
If, in the unlikely event that the Branch Finder information is incorrect for your local branch, there will be a note on the door describing which nearby branches are open.
