Ghic and Ehic won't protect you as much as we can
If you're in EU, a valid European Health Insurance Card (Ehic) or its replacement UK Global Health Insurance Card (Ghic) give you access to state-provided medical healthcare for less or free. But our travel insurance could cover more of the cost, including costs the cards don’t cover like repatriation. Don't forget, we can also help protect you against delays or cancellations, lost luggage & documents and personal liability. What's more, if you are going abroad to snowboard or ski there are even more reasons you need travel insurance.
Finding the right over 65 cover is easy with us
If you fancy a cruise, we can provide cover with trip limits up to 31 days if your aged 76 and over. For anyone aged 71-75 it's 90 days, and 70 and below it's up to 365 days. If you fancy a spot of golf, there are no age restrictions and for the more adventurous, we offer winter sports cover up to 70 years of age.
What if you have a medical condition?
You may have a pre-existing medical condition like asthma, a heart problem or cancer. But we don't think that's a reason why you shouldn't be able to enjoy yourself on holiday. So we offer Medical screening to declare any medical conditions that you may have.
Sort out the insurance when you sort out your holiday
It's a good idea to buy your travel insurance as soon as your holiday is booked. It will cover you for cancellation or anything that might prevent you from travelling, like unexpected illness, injury or even bereavement before you make your trip.
If your holiday is cancelled, we can help
And our Annual Multi-Trip cover is in place for a whole year, so you can be reassured knowing your holiday is protected from the policy start date you choose. For cancellation cover to begin immediately for any trips you’ve already booked, make sure you choose the date you buy the insurance as the start date for the policy.
The availability of cover options is dependent upon the level of cover you select. Conditions and exclusions apply. For full details of what's included with your cover, check the Policy Wording.
