Add our optional Cruise Cover to your policy for added protection

If you’re off sailing the seven seas, make sure you’re not left high and dry with optional Cruise Cover. It’s there to help if you find yourself all at sea, need emergency treatment on-board or in-harbour or if you need to re-join the ship because an illness or lost passport keep you briefly ashore. Don’t find yourself washed up if you miss the beginning of your trip due to breakdown or traffic, and make sure you look ship-shape and Bristol fashion if you need assistance to find alternative evening wear. Our optional Cruise Cover can be added for an additional premium.

A cruise isn’t a cruise without a swanky night out. So you can look your best even if your evening dress is lost, stolen or damaged by helping you with hire costs.

Don’t miss the boat

Remind yourself how much a cruise holiday costs. It's typically more expensive than a standard trip. A voyage tends to last longer than most holidays too. That's why a cruise holiday carries its own particular risks, and optional Cruise Cover is there in case the unexpected should happen.

We don’t like to think about what could go wrong, but cruises can have their own, unexpected upsets. Getting ill at sea might mean you're treated on board at first, and you might need emergency evacuation back to shore. Cruise insurance is there to help.

Cruise Cover FAQs

What is Cruise travel insurance?

Cruise Cover is an optional add-on to a travel insurance policy that protects against travel risks uniquely associated with going on a cruise. This can range from becoming unwell at sea to the added complications surrounding lost or stolen luggage. This can be added for an additional premium.

Why add Cruise Cover?

If you’re going on a cruise holiday, it’s important to have optional Cruise Cover. Certain things that could happen at sea may not be covered by a standard policy alone and the extra protection is designed specifically to help with cruise-related mishaps.
