Defaqto 5-star rated cover
Our travel insurance policies with premier level cover are Defaqto 5-star rated
When you get your travel insurance quote from us, we’ll offer you some optional extra cover options. You can pay a little extra to add these to your standard policy cover.
If you get a quote for annual multi-trip cover, one of these options is trip extensions. It extends the standard trip duration we’ll cover – 31 days – to your choice of 45 or 60 days.
This could be useful if you’re likely to travel for longer periods during the 12 months your policy covers you for.
The trip extensions add-on will apply to any trip you take in the 12 months your annual multi-trip policy covers you for, up to the number of days you choose. You can take as many trips as you like on this cover. The only limit is we’ll cover a maximum of 183 days abroad per year.
Yes, the trip extensions option can be added to your annual multi-trip travel insurance policy either when you take it out or at later date. If you’re adding it later, this will need to be before you embark on a trip you need the extended cover for.
No, sorry. The trip extensions option can only be added to annual multi-trip policies.
