I had a Money Card, what do I need to know?
What has happened?
We wrote to you in November 2016 to let you know of our decision to discontinue our Post Office Money Card product, which means that your account has been closed and your card has been cancelled.
What happens if I had money left on my card when you closed the product?
Any remaining money will be refunded back to you by mid-February 2017.
Who do I contact if I have a query on my card from before it was closed or about my refunded balance?
In the event that you have a query that relates to your card while it was still active, or if you have a question relating to the refund you will have been sent, please contact us by e-mail at email@example.com or by telephone on 020 7272 1764.
Is there another Post Office product that I can apply for?
We offer a Travel Money Card which is also a prepaid MasterCard and you can load your money on to it in the same way. We also offer Current Accounts.
Unfortunately we cannot move money for you and we also recommend you read the terms and conditions carefully of any new product before you make a decision about which would be best for you.
