You can find out if your van is insured on the MID database. It's free to check your own vehicle registration number. But it’s important to note it can take up to 10 days for a vehicle to appear after you’ve taken out insurance

If you choose to pay in monthly instalments, you'll be charged the APR % stated in your credit agreement. This means you’ll pay more than you’d pay through an annual lump sum arrangement.
You’ll receive a renewal notice 28 days before your renewal date. This will give you instructions about any actions you may need to take.
It means your policy will renew automatically when it comes up for renewal each year. It’s a stress-free way of staying insured. We’ll send a reminder 28 days before your renewal date. You can then check the details and make sure you’re happy to go ahead.
If you change your mind, opting out of automatic renewals is easy. Go into your account or call the customer service team on 0345 073 1002 to make the change.
The insurance for your car is based on its registration number. Unless the certificate of insurance permits you to drive a van as well, you can't drive your van on your car insurance. Our Driving Other Cars (DOC) cover doesn't extend to a van.
To cancel your cover please call us on 0345 073 1002. There may be charges or fees to pay to cancel before or after the 14-day cooling-off period. Check your policy document for full details.
