If you’re out when Royal Mail or Parcelforce try to deliver, we’ll make sure your item’s kept safe and sound at a Post Office branch until you can collect it
Royal Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide will automatically try redeliver the next working day after the first missed delivery.
Items will then be returned to the location on the ‘Something for You’ attempted delivery card they leave behind.
If the location on the card is not convenient, you can have your item redelivered for free to your local Post Office branch
Visit the Royal Mail redelivery webpage, select the option to redeliver to ‘Local Post Office’ and choose your local branch
Bring along proof of identity, address, and the P739 ‘Something for you’ card
Please note there's no charge for this service for items delivered by Royal Mail, but there may be a small charge for Parcelforce items
