The perfect festive greetings

Christmas cards are still the most popular way to send festive cheer and show family and friends you’re thinking of them. Add a Christmas stamp to complete the festive feel.

This year’s Christmas Special Stamps show ‘Royal Mail delivering Christmas’, beautifully illustrated by Gloucestershire-based artist, Andrew Davidson.

Religious Madonna and Child designs of 1st and 2nd Class stamps are also available in all branches. Just ask one of our branch team if you’d prefer these stamps.

Some common questions

Do Christmas stamps expire?

No, Christmas stamps don’t have an expiry date. So, however long you’ve had them, you can still use them. Stamps with a monetary value don’t have an expiry date either, and can be combined to make up the value of postage required if necessary.

Can I use last year’s Christmas stamps?

Yes. There’s no expiry date, so you can use them whenever you need to. For stamps with a monetary value printed on them you’ll need to check the current prices, and may need to combine them with other stamps to make up to the correct value of postage.

Can Christmas stamps be used all year?

Yes. It may be a festive image on the front, but Christmas stamps can be used all year round. You may need to combine stamps with a monetary value printed on them to make up the current postage price. Check prices
