Post Office Money Free Parent Life Cover is provided by The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited.
You can apply for Post Office Money Free Parent Life Cover if you are aged 18 to 66, you are a UK resident and named on the child's birth certificate, adoption certificate, final residence order or special guardianship order.
You cannot apply if you have had a positive diagnosis of HIV infection nor, within the last 12 months, received medical treatment for cancer (including leukaemia and lymphoma).
The policy will not pay out if you commit suicide, or die as the result of attempted suicide, a self-inflicted injury, an HIV-related illness, or your death is linked to being under the influence (temporarily or otherwise) of drugs or alcohol.
Cover will expire after 12 months.
You can apply once for each child you have so if you’ve already made a previous application for the same child for Post Office Money Free Parent Life Cover you cannot reapply.
Each child must be under 4 years old.
