The Post Office Travel Money Card refer-a-friend Offer Terms and Conditions
- Definitions: The Post Office Travel Money Card refer-a-friend Offer is being promoted by Post Office Limited, registered Office, 100 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7ER. and First Rate Exchange Services Limited. First Rate Exchange Services is a Bank of Ireland/Post Office joint venture company registered in England and Wales. Company Registration number: 04287490. Registered Office: Great West House, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9DF. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully as participation in the Offer is deemed as your acceptance of these. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, you will see some of the below terms:
1.1. Promoter: Post Office Limited, 100 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7ER
1.2 ‘Referrer’ The original travel money card holder who is recommending the product.
1.3 ‘Referee’ The person who the travel money card is being recommended to.
1.4 ‘Offer’ The reward of £7 that will be provided to both the Referrer and the Referee and will be shown clearly on our communications. - This Offer is open to residents of United Kingdom aged 18 or over except employees of Post Office Limited, Post Office postmasters, First Rate Exchange Services Limited, their families, agents of employees or postmasters who work in Post Office branches or anyone professionally connected with the Offer.
- To be eligible for this Offer you must have an active Travel Money Card, opened via a Post Office Branch, the Post Office website or via the Post Office Travel app.
- As the Referrer, to receive your unique referral link, you will need to register to Buyapowa via https://postoffice-referrals.travelmoneyonline.co.uk and share with your friends. Customers who meet the qualifying criteria set out in clause 3 will qualify to enter the Offer so long as they have registered their name, email address, date of birth and postcode, and confirmed acceptance of these terms. - Once registered you will receive an email with a link that can be passed on to any friend or family member.
- As the Referrer, you can successfully refer a maximum of 3 people and earn £7 for each successful referral (maximum of £21). Each recipient of your unique link will become the Referee.
- The Referrer and The Referee cannot be the same person; the Offer will not be granted under this circumstance.
- The Referee must register to the unique link provided by the Referrer AND purchase a new Travel Money Card with a minimum load of foreign currency equivalent to £100, for the referral to be successful. If the link is not used, the Offer will not be awarded. There is no exception to this rule.
- The unique link is valid for 90 days. Use after this date will not trigger the Offer.
- Only one card per Referee will receive the £7 Offer. For example, if the person you refer to buys 2 Travel Money Cards, only one payment of £7 will be paid to you and them.
- For new Travel Money Card customers, entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions set out in clauses 4 & 7 and all identification, address verification and anti-money laundering checks have been completed. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse an entry at any time during the Offer period.
- The Promoter will notify the Referrer of a successful referral (subject to verification) by email, using the email address the Referrer provided at the time of registering for the Offer.
- Once the Referee has opened their account using the link provided, and the 14 day cooling period has been passed, 1x £7 Offer will be loaded onto the Travel Money Card of the Referrer and the Referee within 3 weeks.
- The £7 Offer will be added to the sterling wallet of the Referrer with the option to transfer to a different currency via the Travel app or Post Office website.
- The equivalent of £7’s worth of currency will be added to the same currency as the initial load onto the Referee’s card.
- The Promoter, and any of its partners, does not take any responsibility for incomplete registration forms or any applications that are lost, delayed, or otherwise not received for any reason, including technical interruption, fault, or website failure. Such entries will be deemed invalid.
- The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Offer without notice where it becomes necessary to do so as a result of: actions beyond our reasonable control; a legal or regulatory issue; a systems failure; or the failure by any third party to perform services. If this happens, the Promoter will notify customers by placing a notice in Post Office branches and on its website as soon as practically possible afterwards.
- The Promoter may cancel, suspend, and amend this Offer at any time if there is reasonable justification to do so, by giving reasonable notice on its website.
- The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By agreeing to these terms and conditions entrants’ consent to the processing and transfer of their personal data to the Promoter, First Rate Exchange Services Ltd (who operate the Post Office Travel Money Card) and Buyapowa for the purposes of the administration of this Offer. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
- By participating in this Offer, you agree to release, discharge, and hold us harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this Offer to the fullest extent permitted by law (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
- These terms and conditions can be extended, withdrawn, amended, substituted or cancelled at any time if there is reasonable justification to do so.
- These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English and Welsh law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
- These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
- These terms and conditions provide information about how we use your personal data for the purposes of running the Offer and needs to be read together with the main Post Office Privacy Policy at postoffice.co.uk/privacy. We collect your first name, surname email address, date of birth and postcode. Your information will not be transferred or accessed outside of the UK/EEA. We use this data to assess your eligibility for the Offer, to administer the Offer and to produce anonymised statistics. By providing your details and agreeing to the terms and conditions, you are consenting to the use of your personal information for these purposes.
