Post Office Shop Closure

As of 31st August 2020 our Post Office Shop service will close

As the way customers use our services evolves, we are required to review how best to support these changing needs. We understand it will be disappointing that the Post Office Shop is closing and apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Customers can continue to purchase stamps and a range of other items at their local Post Office. Our network of over 11,500 branches means most customers are within 3 miles of their local Post Office.

The postoffice.co.uk website continues to provide information on Post Office services and details on where you can find your nearest branch.

Where can I purchase now?

Customer will no longer be able to purchase from postofficeshop.co.uk. Instead, you can buy a wide range of postage and packaging in one of our Post Office branches.

Where can I buy stamps and collectable stamps?

All our Post Office branches sell a range of stamps and postage services. Some select branches also offer collectable stamps and coins to be purchased, subject to availability.

Post Office Shop - My Account

The My Account area of the Post Office Shop will be shutting down on the 31st August. We ask that you access and save any order information from your My Account area as soon as possible. Log in to your online account here.

Please make sure you have documented any information that will be required for your business and financial records.

If you require a VAT receipt, please contact us on the number below or reply to the dispatch confirmation email you should have received stating that you require a VAT receipt. Alternatively, once you have received your goods, if you require a VAT receipt then please contact us and we'll arrange one for you.

How do I return an item?

What if I no longer want a product?

As a consumer you have the right to cancel any order within 14 days, from the day after the date on which your order is delivered.

We will process the refund due to you within 14 days of the cancellation date or on receipt of goods (or evidence of a return).

You can contact us to inform us of the cancellation by phone or email. We will provide you with a returns number and details of where to send the item(s). All returns made under this 14 day cooling off period are at your own cost. Provided the product is returned to us in accordance with the above and in the same condition as it was when delivered to you, we will refund the price of the product in full, including the cost of sending the product to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the products to us. Please be aware that at our discretion we can withhold refunds until the product is returned (or evidence of return is provided). We also have the discretion to reduce the amount of money refunded for a product returned which show evidence of use beyond the handling necessary.

How do I package an item to send back to you?

When returning an item to us, please make sure that:

The item and its packaging are in the same condition as when you received it.
The returns number (or original delivery note) is included, or clearly marked on the outer wrapping.
The parcel is well wrapped and protected.
The address is clear and easy to read.

Food Items

Please be aware that we will not accept the return of any food items if they become unsealed after delivery. This is due to health protection and hygiene reasons.

What if an item stops working after a period of time?

As a consumer, if the item is less than 6 months old and stops working, you have the right to request a replacement or a repair. Contact us and we'll arrange to collect it from you and check it. As long as any fault has not arisen through normal wear and tear, we'll offer a replacement or a repair. If those aren't possible, we will refund you.

If the fault happens more than 6 months after purchase, unfortunately we can't offer a replacement, repair or refund unless you can demonstrate the item was faulty when you bought it.

We recommend checking to see if the faulty item is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

What is a manufacturer's warranty?

Many manufacturers (or suppliers) offer warranties on their products - directly to the owner of the product. If any problems arise within the warranty period - which varies from product to product - you should contact them directly. A manufacturer's warranty is separate from the seller's trading obligations. The only product range of which we (VOW Retail Ltd.) are the supplier is the PostPak branded packaging.
