Sending items with DPD

In the UK mainland, DPD offer next day delivery by 12pm and next day delivery. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man take 2 to 5 working days.
For next day delivery by 12pm, there are some postcodes where we aim to deliver by 1pm. These are: EX23, PL1, PL2, PL5, PL10-PL19, PL22-PL35, TR1-TR20, TR26-TR27, KA1-KA26, KA29-KA30, TD1-TD16, DG1-DG9, EH1-EH55, KY1-KY7, KY11- KY13, KY99, G1-G62, G64-G82, ML1-ML12, PA1-PA19, FK1-FK15.

For next day delivery by 12pm, and next day delivery services, cut-off times for sending are between 11am and 3pm. Please check with your local Post Office branch for their specific sending cut-off times.

No. The next day service aims to arrive within a working day if your item’s sent before the cut-off time, and in 1-2 working days if not.
Next day delivery by 12pm aims to be there by midday the next day if sent before the cut-off time. All deliveries are subject to last collection and regional delivery times.

No, there are different charges for different services and regions. All DPD packages are priced in bands of 0.1-2kg and 2-10kg.
Next day delivery: £8.25 (0.1-2kg), £9.95 (2-10kg)
Next day delivery by 12pm: £10.85 (0.1-2kg), £12.55 (2-10kg)
Saturday delivery: £9.50 (0.1-2kg), £11.50 (2-10kg)
Saturday next day delivery by 12pm: £15.00 (01.-2kg), £17.50 (2-10kg)
Scottish Highlands: £15.65 (0.1-2kg), £18.60 (2-10kg)

Yes, a proof of delivery photo is included as standard with all DPD services. This can be viewed online or on the app.

Yes. Jewellery above £250 in value, cash, vouchers and tickets are prohibited on all DPD services.

Yes, but please note that customers wanting to send parcels from Northern Ireland to the EU will need to provide some customs information at the branch counter, such as item descriptions.

Making changes

You can update your email address, phone numbers and postal address using our online banking service. To do so:
- Log into our online banking service
- At the top right of your screen, click ‘Welcome YOUR NAME’
- Select 'Contact details' from the drop-down menu
- Follow the on-screen instructions
We’ll update your email address and phone number instantly. For your security, when you change your address you will not be able to transact on this account for one full business day.

To help you manage your savings you can add a nickname to your account, for example, "money for wedding." To do this:
- Log into our online banking service
- Click ‘Options’ on the product summary page relating to the account you wish to rename
- Select ‘Re-name account’ from the drop-down menu
- Follow the on-screen instructions

You can close your Online Saver by:
- Sending us a letter confirming you wish to close your account
- Logging into the online servicing site, or
- Calling our customer service centre
We’ll send the final balance, together with any accrued interest, to your linked account. If you wish to close your account, please print off your online statements beforehand.

Yes, but please note:
- Your new linked account must be a UK bank or building society current account in your name
- Once changed there is a minimum of one full business day before the account details can be used for withdrawals
Once your Post Office online savings account is open, log into our online banking service as follows:
- On the account summary page, select ’Options’ for the Post Office savings account you wish to amend
- Select ‘Link account”
- Follow the on-screen instructions

No, you can only have one Online Saver Account. If you already have an account and you want to make additional deposits, you can do this up to the maximum deposit limit of £2,000,000.
