In order to find out the month in which the local public consultation process is scheduled to start for your local Post Office® branch, you need to know which parliamentary constituency your local branch is in. 

If you know which constituency your local Post Office® branch is in please download the Consultation Period Area Look up document. The month in which local public consultation is scheduled to start is displayed next to the constituency name, followed by the name of the Area Plan. This information may be subject to change, please check this site for an up to date version.

If you don’t know the name of the parliamentary constituency your local Post Office® branch is in:

1. go to www.postoffice.co.uk select ‘Branch finder’ and enter your post code. Click ‘search’.

2. then scroll down the page to find your nearest Post Office® branch. Note the post code. Then go to www.upmystreet.com/commons/ and enter your local branch’s postcode. Click on ‘search’. Note the constituency for your local branch.

3. then download the Consultation Period Area Look up document and find the constituency of your local Post Office® within the document.
