Add Motor Legal Protection to help recover legal expenses up to £100,000 and uninsured losses. Claim compensation if you're injured or killed or can't use your vehicle. You also could claim for your policy excess if you’re not at fault for an accident and repair costs if you don't have comprehensive car insurance.

Take out KeycareThe Keycare Package offers peace of mind if you should lose your keys. It works by attaching a specific keyfob to as many keys as you like. Keys that are lost of stolen can then be replaced. and get a 24-hour emergency helpline and up to £1,000 cover per year for the replacement of lost or stolen keys or reprogramming of immobilisers, and £40 a day for car hire.

The Guaranteed Replacement Car service is ideal if your car is stolen or can’t be driven. We will provide you with a replacement vehicle for 14 or 28 days.

Under 50s Free Breakdown Cover

1. This offer applies to new Post Office® Car Insurance customers only, purchasing a Car Insurance policy until 30 September 2013 and who are aged 49 years or under at the time of the purchase of the policy. Customers who are renewing an existing policy, amending the details of the current policy or who have held a Post Office Car Insurance policy within 14 days prior to the start date of their new Post Office Car Insurance policy are not eligible for this offer. This date represents an extension to the previous offer closing date of 16 October 2012.

2. The policy must be purchased directly with Post Office® Car Insurance. This offer is not available via price comparison websites. Policies purchased directly with Post Office using a quote reference obtained from a comparison website will not be eligible for this offer.

3. This offer is not open to existing Post Office® Car Insurance customers who are renewing an existing policy or changing the details of their current policy.
