- No maximum age limit: for vet fees cover (with the exception of cremation costs)
- The market value: up to £1,000 if your pet dies or has to be put to sleep by a vet following an injury or illness. Death through illness will only apply for pets aged 8 years or under

- If you take your pet abroadThe Pet Travel Scheme is administered by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and allows you to take your pet abroad to certain specific countries and re-enter the United Kingdom without the need for your pet to go into quarantine, provided certain criteria have been adhered to. The scheme is also known as PETS., it will still be covered in many European countries if it needs emergency treatment (up to £500, maximum three trips )
- No need to worry about there not being anybody to look after your pet if you are unexpectedly taken to hospital. You could get up to £750 for emergency licensed kennel or cattery fees (up to £75 per week, up to a maximum of £750)
- If you have to cancel a holiday because your pet goes missing whilst you are away, or becomes injured or ill and needs immediate lifesaving surgery in the 7 days prior to your holiday, you could get compensation up to £1,000 per year.
- Up to £750 for the local advertising costs incurred if your pet is lost or stolen
- Up to £250 for the reward costs incurred to recover your pet if it is lost or stolen
