  • Cover for your vet feesThis is for vet fees per condition for accident or illness. Please check your policy documentation for specific treatment limits and conditions.: up to £5,000 per condition, for accident and illness, as standard
  • No maximum age limit: for vet fees cover (with the exception of cremation costs)
  • The market value: up to £1,000 if your pet dies or has to be put to sleep by a vet following an injury or illness. Death through illness will only apply for pets aged 8 years or under

  • A 5% discount off your premium for every additional pet you insure with us
  • If you take your pet abroadThe Pet Travel Scheme is administered by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and allows you to take your pet abroad to certain specific countries and re-enter the United Kingdom without the need for your pet to go into quarantine, provided certain criteria have been adhered to. The scheme is also known as PETS., it will still be covered in many European countries if it needs emergency treatment (up to £500, maximum three trips )
  • No need to worry about there not being anybody to look after your pet if you are unexpectedly taken to hospital. You could get up to £750 for emergency licensed kennel or cattery fees (up to £75 per week, up to a maximum of £750)
  • If you have to cancel a holiday because your pet goes missing whilst you are away, or becomes injured or ill and needs immediate lifesaving surgery in the 7 days prior to your holiday, you could get compensation up to £1,000 per year.
  • Up to £750 for the local advertising costs incurred if your pet is lost or stolen
  • Up to £250 for the reward costs incurred to recover your pet if it is lost or stolen

Pets not covered

Cats must be vaccinated against: feline infectious enteritis, feline leukaemia and cat flu. Dogs must be vaccinated against: distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvovirus and rabies if they’re going to travel, or they won’t be covered under some sections of the policy.

We don’t cover wolves, any wolf hybrid or any animal registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and the Dangerous Dogs (Northern Ireland) order 1991 or any subsequent amendments, and any of the following breeds or dogs crossed with these breeds:
