Before you start

Going to be going away more than once this year? Post Office® Annual multi-trip travel insurance could be more cost-effective for you.

Think about extras you might need

 
  • does anybody in your group plan on doing any extreme sports and need cover for hazardous activities?
  • are you taking any valuable equipment and need to increase the limit you can claim for individual items from £300 to £1,000?
  • do you need golf or winter sports cover?
  • how many times will you go away in the next 12 months?

Make sure you have all the information you'll need:

 
  • name and age of all applicants
  • your email address
  • credit or debit card, for example Chargecard, Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa or Mastercard?

Check the details of the policy, considering these points:

 
  • is everyone to be covered a resident of the UK (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man)?
  • are you, or anybody on the policy, 75 or over? If so call us on 0800 294 2292
  • can you, or anybody on the policy, complete the health declaration? If not, call our medical screening line on 0845 602 5275
  • are you or anybody on the policy aware of any reason why the trip may be cancelled or cut short? If so call us on 0800 294 2292
  • for a family policy, does everyone covered live at the same UK address?
  • does each trip start and finish in the UK?
