Single trip travel insurance
Whether you pick Premium, Classic, or Basic travel insurance, each policy provides:
- cover for trips from 1 day up to 90 days
- coverage for more than 80 activities, from abseiling to zorbing.
- at least £5m of medical cover3
- cancellation cover, beginning the moment you purchase your policy.
There is no upper age limit for our single trip policies. Within Annual multi-trip travel insurance Basic and Premium coverage has an upper age limit of 65. Classic covers up to 74 years old. If you have any questions please call us free on 0800 294 2292.
If you’re buying single-trip travel insurance for your family, named dependant children under 18 are covered for free - as long as they are travelling with a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt or legal guardian who has travel insurance from the Post Office®. Non-dependant children will receive a 50% discount. Non-dependants are children under 18, who are not travelling with a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt or legal guardian who is covered on this policy - for example a sibling under the age of 18 years or your child’s friend. They will receive a 50% discount off the standard individual rate.

Aged 65-74?
You can buy travel insurance by calling free on 0800 294 2292 or by going into a Post Office. It's temporarily not available online though, for which we apologise, and it will be back soon.
