Large parcels

If your parcel is over the size or weight of a medium parcel, you'll need to send it via ParcelForce (up to a maximum of 30kg and maximum size of 150cm and 300cm length and girth combined). Find out more about this service.

Posting tubes and cylinders

We know that not everything fits neatly in a box – that’s why we have slightly different rules for different-shaped parcels.

  • For rolled and cylinder shaped items, the length of the item plus twice the diameter must not exceed 104cm, with the greatest dimension being no more than 90cm.

Here’s how to find out if it’s the right size:

  • Measure the length of the parcel
  • Measure the flat end of the parcel and double it
  • Add all those measurements together

If it all adds up to less than 104cm and weighs under 20Kg, you should be able to post it as a Medium Parcel
