Christmas 2016 stamps available online and in branch
The first UK Christmas stamps were issued in 1966 under the guidance of the Postmaster General, Tony Benn. Since then, Christmas stamps have consistently been the most popular release of the year, with new bespoke designs released each festive season.
Designs have featured work by a diverse range of talented designers and artists including Quentin Blake (1993) and Axel Scheffler (2012), with many designs paying homage to British favourites including Wallace & Gromit (2010).
With over 17 billion Christmas stamps sold in Britain since 1966, the 2016 Christmas stamp collection is just as magical as ever.
