Royal Mail delivers letters and parcels to 27 million UK homes and businesses, but sometimes items are delivered to the wrong address.

If you get wrongly delivered post

  • Pop it through the letterbox at the right address if it’s nearby
  • Repost it in any post box
  • Hand it back to the postman or woman

Your address but a different name?

If you receive an item with your address but a different name, cross out your address and write ‘Not known at this address’ on the envelope and repost it. If there’s a return address circle that too.

If you keep getting wrongly delivered post, let Royal Mail know.
