It’s really easy to transfer your phone to us. There’s no minimum contract and you should be able to keep your existing numberNon cable line or HomePhone line required. Minimum 12 month contract.. Plus you can pay your bill by Direct Debit, over the phone or pop in branch. 

Line Rental Saver

Save £24 a year by paying for 12 months line rental in advanceCustomers can elect to pay for 12 months of Post Office HomePhone line rental in advance for £120 a year. At the end of the 12 months you can move onto the standard line rental charge or pay a further upfront payment for the annual line rental. There is no refund of the advanced payment if a customer leaves the service before the end of the 12 months other than for the specified reasons in our Terms and Conditions, including your right to a cooling off period under the distance selling regulations. for £120.

Your Payment Options

As a new customer with either HomePhone or HomePhone and Broadband, you can choose how to settle your bill.

The easiest way to pay and to ensure you always avoid late payment charges is to set up a variableA variable rate of interest can go up or down throughout the lifetime of a savings account. Direct Direct debit which ensures your bill is paid in full every time. We will inform you of the bill total in advance. Your rights are protected by the Direct Debit guarantee.

Monthly Bill Payers

If you choose to pay monthly you will need to set up a Direct Debit. You will be able to view and print your bills online.

Quarterly Bill Payers

Your bills will be posted to you and are also available to view and print out online. You can opt out of receiving paper bills if you wish.


We aim to have you up and running between 5-14 days with no break in service (in some cases it may take a little longer if you are having a new phone line installed but we'll let you know when you join up).
