Enrolment for Foreign Nationals

If you're applying to extend your stay in the UK, and you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA), you may need to apply for a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) as part of your immigration application. In order to do this, you need to enrol your biometrics.

You need to bring your bar coded biometric invitation letter from UK Border Agency with you to the Post Office
visit one of our participating Post Office® branches to enrol your biometrics
it costs just £19.20
we'll capture your biometrics by taking your
photograph, fingerprints and digital signature
all information is sent securely to the
UK Border Agency

It costs just £19.20 to enrol your biometrics at a Post Office® branch in addition to the fee you pay to the UK Border Agency for your immigration application.
