You can use the DVLA Photocard Renewal service at the Post Office® to renew your photo as often as you like – you do not have to wait 10 years. You can also change your address but you must renew your photocard when you do this.

Renewing your driving licence at 70 plus
Your driving licence entitlement will expire when you reach the age of 70 and if you want to continue to drive, the entitlement will need to be renewed by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
