How it works

Using the Redirection service is easy and affordable with prices starting from just £24.99.

Royal Mail can redirect your mail from most UK addresses to any other UK or overseas address, even PO Box addresses. Redirections to European UnionAustria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland (Republic of), Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. destinations (excluding the UK) are subject to VAT at the standard rate.

Royal Mail will usually have your service up and running five working days after the application has been received.

Just take your completed Redirection form to your nearest branch, along with the applicable proof of name and address documents requested on the form.

Did you know? To help prevent identity fraud, the Home Office Identity Fraud Steering Committee recommends you use the Redirection service for at least one year after you move.
