The free mails service designed for small businesses, online sellers and high volume mail customers.

Whether you are an online seller, run a small business or simply send post regularly, we recognise the importance of making the most of your time. Our new Drop & Go service has been developed specifically with your needs in mind – saving you valuable time and allowing you to focus on the important aspects of running a business.

How does it work?

Sign up for a Drop & Go account in your nearest participating branch – it only takes a few minutes to complete. Then top-up your account.

Next time you have mail to send, simply visit the fast-track counter (where available) and drop off your mail with us. We’ll do a few quick checks to make sure everything looks fine – checking you’ve enough money in your account for example - and you’re then free to go! There’s no queue and there’s no need to hang around waiting for us to process your mail.

We’ll then take care of the mail later in the day, taking the cost from your prepaid card as we go. If you’re sending anything tracked or if you need any certificates of posting, that’s no problem – we’ll keep those receipts ready for you to collect the next time you come and see us.

Drop & Go up to 50% off selected parcel postage offer terms and conditions

Customers sending a Medium Parcel by Royal Mail by 1st or 2nd Class (610mm length x 460mm width, no thicker than 460mm and weighing up to 2kg) will be charged the rate for a small parcel of the corresponding weight.  Customers sending items by Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm weighing 1-2kg will receive a 25% discount.  The discounts will be applied to every qualifying parcel sent between 30 June and 19 October 2014.  The discount is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.  A Drop & Go account is required.  Discounts exclusive to new and existing Drop & Go customers only and available at participating Drop & Go Post Office branches. Postage must be fully paid for at the Post Office and the parcel sent on the same day.  Post Office reserves the right to extend or withdraw the discount at any time should it become necessary to do so.

You will need to bring certain forms of ID to open a Drop & Go account. Check the list of acceptable documents, or speak to our business mails specialist in branch.
