Your charges
explained

There are no charges for refusing a payment due to lack of funds and you don't pay anything for:

  • Paying by Direct Debit
  • Using your Post Office Visa Debit card for cash withdrawals in pounds from cash machines in the UK (however, some cash machine providers charge for their service so always check)
  • Making a Visa Debit card payment in pounds in the UK
  • Paying in and withdrawing cash in Post Office branches

Charges do apply to certain transactions and services we offer, see our full Current Account Personal Account Charges.
