Annual multi-trip

Post Office® annual multi-trip insurance gives you 12 months cover for unlimited trips of up to 31 days outside the UK, and pre-booked holidays within the UK (minimum 2 nights).

Single trip

Post Office® single trip insurance gives you cover for a single trip up to 90 days for all ages (call 0800 294 2292 if any of the travellers are over 75).

For 2 or more holidays a year, our annual multi-trip insurance may be better value.

Individual

An individual is any adult or under 18 year old, including lone parents. You can add up to 8 travellers on one policy.

Family / Couple

A family is 2 adults with dependant children under the age of 18, including sons, daughters, grandchildren, nieces or nephews of those taking out lone parent or family cover (up to a total of 8 travellers altogether).

Insured adults can travel independently but dependant children must travel with the insured adult or, under an annual multi-trip policy, be travelling to or returning from the insured adult.

A couple is 2 adults who are married or living together as married.

Dependants

Dependants are children under 18 who will travel free if they are travelling with a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt or legal guardian who is covered on this policy.

Non-dependants are children under 18, who are not related to any adult on the current policy - for example your child’s friend. They will receive a 50% discount off the standard individual rate.

This covers all destinations worldwide.
