If you already own a retail business and are looking to expand, or you are looking to launch a business from scratch, a Post Office ™ franchise could be just what you are looking for.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, committed and business-minded people to take a stake in our growth by becoming a Post Office™ franchisee.

As a franchisee, you would be buying into a solidly established brand that is highly valued and a part of every UK community, trusted and valued by all. You would receive the full support and backing of Post Office Ltd, and advice to help get you started and keep you on track for success.


The benefits

 

With a portfolio of over 170 products and services your business could be turned into a key provider of everyday items giving existing and new customers even more reason to visit.

A franchise can be a lucrative new source of income. Revenue you earn is based on your sales figures and, while there is no guaranteed minimum, as your sales increase so does the level of remuneration you receive.

Additionally, ongoing training will be provided in the form of ‘briefs’ or evening training sessions free of charge.

Once started, a Post Office Sales Account manager will visit you on a regular basis keeping you up to date with sales campaigns, techniques and targets.

You will receive ongoing marketing support and point of sale material to help sell Post Office™ products.

Fully automated operating and accounting systems.

A five year contract with the right to renew gives you long-term peace of mind together with time to build your business and ensure a return on your investment.


What we expect in return

 

The contract works both ways, therefore we are looking for franchise partners who:

  • Have a strong desire to build a successful business
  • Have high levels of customer services
  • Have a passion for customer satisfaction
  • Have the appropriate levels of capital required to establish the Post Office™ franchise together with a quality branded retail operation.

How does the arrangement work?

 

Once received, your application will be reviewed by a dedicated manager who will then work with you to assess the feasibility and viability of you becoming a Post Office™ franchisee.

If you are starting a new business from scratch, we can introduce you to a specialist ‘symbol’ retailer such as Spar, Londis, Hallmark and Agfa. These companies will also give you the benefit of their retail and marketing expertise, purchasing power, and stock control, management and electronic monitoring systems.


Once appointed

 
  • Sign appropriate contract
  • Pay a non-negotiable, one off franchise fee based on £5K per branch plus £2K per counter position required (plus VAT)
