However, fuel costs have risen substantially in popular European motoring holiday destinations this year. To help you make you savings, the Post Office® Travel Services team have created a new report - Motoring on the Continent (link will open in a new window - pdf 500KB), which examines fuel prices and car hire costs throughout the Continent.

According to the report, (link will open in a new window - pdf 500KB), Spain is best value for diesel fuel and has the cheapest car hire in the Continent, whilst Norway is one of the most expensive.
