Use Special Delivery™ and get up to £500 automatic compensation cover for loss or damage. If your item is more valuable, you can get extra cover up to £2,500 for a small additional fee.

If you’re a Post Office® or franking machine customer, ask at your local Post Office® about our Guaranteed Saturday Delivery, available for just £2.25 extra per item. If you’re a Royal Mail Account customer, contact your Account team to find out more about this service and its costs.

Late Access Charges

The premium charges for items processed by Royal Mail on the customer’s site and posted after the current standard LAT are as follows:
