Family Legal Protection, helps you through stressful legal problems by providing support and a 24/7 advice helpline.

Where you have a good chance of winning the case, up to £50,000 of legal assistance can be provided for:

• disputes over the buying and selling of goods and services
• residential disputes with your neighbours
• making a claim for personal injury
• unfair treatment or dismissal by an employer

Helplines include:

• Eurolaw Legal, for advice on personal legal problems
• Tax Advice, for any self assessment or general tax queries

Family Legal Protection costs only £24.00 per year.

Full details will be sent to you with your policy.

Our standard "new for old" policy protects your contents against damage by fire, smoke, subsidence, malicious damage, theft¹, storm, explosion, lightning and flood. It also covers accidental damage to non-portable home entertainment equipment, such as televisions, recording and audio equipment, television games, monitors and printers.

For an additional cost, you can add the Full Accidental Damage option.

Full Accidental Damage cover (Conditions and exclusions apply - see policy document for more details) is not available where children are minded at the property.

Cover your possessions away from home

You can extend your contents insurance for an additional cost to protect items against loss or damage away from the home, anywhere in the world, up to a maximum of £2,000 - individual item limits apply (Conditions and exclusions apply, see policy document for more details).

Items that are worn or carried must be named and are covered to an individual item limit of £1,500 unless specified within the Cover outside the home section in the policy schedule. For example:

• handbags and their contents
• mobile phones
• laptop computers
• pedal cycles
• jewellery
• cameras
• camcorders
• clothing

When you apply, we give you cover for up to £350 cash and up to £500 credit cards. Bicycles are also included in this section up to £350 for each bike - bicycles worth more than £350 should be listed individually in the Specified Bicycles section.
