We are aware that some customers have been targeted by illegal scams claiming to offer pre-approval for Post Office® Personal Loans in return for a fee.
Please note that:
- We only accept applications made directly to the Post Office®.
- We do not allow any third parties (e.g. credit management or loan sourcing agencies) to refer or pre-approve customers for Post Office® Personal Loans.
- We do not charge a fee for the application process for Post Office® Personal Loans.
If you are contacted by anybody other than the Post Office® offering to place or provide pre-approval for a Post Office® Personal Loan, this may be an illegal scam.
