Savings Stamps

Post Office® savings stamps have been replaced by the new Post Office® Budget Card

What has happened to Post Office® Savings Stamps?

Post Office® savings stamps have been replaced by the new Post Office® Budget Card. Find out how to get yourself a Post Office® Budget Card.

What can I do if I find some unused Post Office® Savings Stamps?

If you currently have a collector’s card with savings stamps attached, you can exchange your unused Savings Stamps at any branch for a Post Office payout® letter which you can then cash in at a Post Office® branch. This letter will provide you with the full value of the Savings Stamps exchanged when presented in branch.

Due to the need to protect against fraudulent Savings Stamps, the letter will be issued to your home address within 28 days, so make sure that you do not need to pay any bills or Vehicle Tax in the meantime.

You will also be required to provide Identification when cashing a Post Office payout® letter. Full details of the acceptable forms of identification will be contained in the payout letter.
