Entitled to benefit payments or a pension?
Direct Payments is a way of receiving your money straight into one of the following:
- a Post Office® card account
- a UK bank or building society account

It’s free to use your card account at the Post Office® and you can also:
- choose the amount of money you take out
- decide when you come in and collect your money
- take care of other tasks while you’re at the Post Office®
Contact the department that pays your pensions and benefits if you need:
- help collecting your pensions and benefits
- to nominate someone to collect your pensions and benefits for you
- to ask about the Post Office® card account
- any further advice
