Switching is easy

It’s really easy to switch your broadband to us. Our contracts are only 12 months and all you need is your Migration Authorisation Code (MACYour Migration Authorisation Code or MAC is an identification number specific to your broadband connection. We need this to make the switch to our broadband service. A MAC is valid for 30 days, after this, you’ll need a new one if you haven’t switched over yet.) and a non-cable phone line - we’ll sort out the rest.

  1. Apply
    Check availability and apply online, at your local branch or by calling 0800 092 0514. If you’ve got cable or you don’t have a phone line, you’ll need to install or activate one. This usually costs £60, subject to survey, see our HomePhone Service.
    If you’re switching from another broadband supplier and have a BT phone line, you’ll need to request a MACYour Migration Authorisation Code or MAC is an identification number specific to your broadband connection. We need this to make the switch to our broadband service. A MAC is valid for 30 days, after this, you’ll need a new one if you haven’t switched over yet. from your existing supplier.   2. Activate
    Once we’ve processed your application, we’ll get your broadband activated as soon as possible.

2-3 You’ll get your ‘Welcome pack’. This includes your Terms and Conditions, online account username and the date your service will start

You’ll get your payment letter, confirming your chosen payment method (includes a Direct Debit mandate if you’ve chosen to pay this way). We'll also include your online account password in this letter. If you are having a new line installed your service could commence from day 5

7- 8 We’ll send out your modem
9-10 Your modem will arrive
11-12 Your service will start
